A short trip to Van Long

Recently, I had chance to visit Van Long Nature Reserve in Ninh Binh province. This tranquil reserve comprises a reedy wetland ideal for bird-watching. Very rare black-faced spoonbill, cotton pygmy goose and white-browed crake have been seen here and the reserve is also one of the last refuges of the endangered Delacour’s langur.
I just stayed in VanLong for around 4 hours so I didnt have chance to take a boat to deep inside the reserve. Bad weather, shy animal, but in nearly 4 hours I got some shots as we can see below:

A flock of white storks

A Common KingFisher

A flying Common Buzzard

A purple Heron in flight

White-Browed Crake

In this year I'll going to try more with this interesting place and hope I can bring more photos and information to you :) Thanks for reading!
